What is Community?

Community is a place where everyone belongs. Where there is no hate but only love and joy. Each one with its own purpose, secrets and laughs. It could include the best of friends or the worst enemies. But at the end, a community always has each other’s backs. It amazes me that even with all of the hatred and cruelty in our imperfect world, communities find a way to bring happiness to anyone willing to receive and reciprocate it. Communities are the glue holding our world together with each kind remark exchanged, each compliment given, each laugh, slowly patches up the deep cracks that run through humanity, caused by rage, hatred, and hurt. A community is what brings those lonely souls together, making them finally feel like they belong somewhere.
